Amanda Imbrosciano
Senior RBT
My name is Amanda Imbrosciano and have been a member of the Autism West Behavior Partners Team since 2021. I am originally from Northern New Jersey and explored living in the Philadelphia area and New York City before moving to and settling in Denver, Colorado in 2014 with my now husband. We have a 2 year old daughter and we all enjoy exploring all the music venues, parks, activities, and nature that Colorado has to offer.
After graduating from Cabrini College with a degree in Psychology and Sociology 2011, I was introduced to ABA as a paraprofessional, working 1:1 with an Autistic preschool student. The classroom was inclusive and had a large range of abilities. At the end of the school year, the student I worked with was able to socialize, initiate interactions, build friendships, and play with his friends in the classroom. Witnessing the growth of this student brought an immense sense of pride and happiness for the client. The feeling of that impact brought me back to the field 10 years later. Following my experiences as a paraprofessional in the school system, I took a 10 year hiatus exploring other careers to find the right fit but nothing made sense like my experiences working in ABA. I decided to dip my toe back into ABA and found Autism West where I have had the opportunity to grow professionally from BT to Senior RBT in 3 years.
Being able to witness the growth of my clients and support their families is the most fulfilling part of the job. I enjoy creating a learning environment that is creative, fun, safe and inclusive for all. I believe in promoting social and play interactions between peers to increase social skills in the most natural ways possible.
