Brittney Washington

MA, BCBA

My name is Brittney Washington. I recently relocated to Colorado from Atlanta, Georgia. I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Arizona State University, which I completed in December 2023. I’ve been working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for five years, and I’m passionate about helping children make progress and reach their potential.

My passion for this field grew as I worked in early intervention. I had the incredible opportunity to assist a clinical psychologist with autism diagnoses, which gave me a deeper understanding of autism and its impact on children and their families. It was extremely rewarding to be involved from the very beginning of a child’s journey, watching them grow and achieve important milestones. I love this field because it allows me to make a real difference in children’s lives, supporting their development and seeing them thrive every day.

When I’m not working, I enjoy trying new restaurants and visiting local parks in Colorado. I’m also a professional cake decorator, and while I no longer run a business, I volunteer as a baker for a charity that provides celebration cakes for children in need, marking special milestones such as adoptions, academic achievements, and birthdays.
